Competitions
One of the best ways to train our members is through competitions , where practical knowledge and time management are tested due to the short deadline for each challenge. Our latest achievements in the biggest challenges can be seen below.
Quantitative Challenge
The Quantamental challenge was Brazil's first quantitative challenge . With the aim of attracting students to the quantitative world, our members were highlighted in the competition. The Beane robot, named after the Oakland Athletics General Manager, placed 2nd overall in the challenge .
IGC Challenge
The IGC Challenge is Brazil's largest M&A competition for university students. The groups participate in 3 stages where students take on the role of M&A professionals and advise a fictitious company in search of a new investor. In 2023, two groups from the Investment League went to the final, held in São Paulo.
JGP Challenge
Participants in this challenge must manage, for five months, a fictitious Investment Fund that invests in a specific group of international assets. The fund's management is evaluated by a panel of judges and the 4 funds with the highest profitability reach the final of the challenge. The group representing the Investment League in the 2023 edition reached the final of the challenge.
Constellation Challenge
The Constellation Challenge is more than a company valuation competition - it's a learning path. As the biggest challenge of its kind in Brazil , it seeks for candidates to learn how to evaluate a business from start to finish. For those interested in the financial market, it is the ideal opportunity to deepen technical knowledge in the area of analysis. In the 2023 edition, the Investment League had 3 teams in the semi-final of the challenge based in São Paulo.
